Patch houses at Mentcle, Pennsylvania, one of the later patch towns to be constructed in Indiana County. Mentcle was built by Bethlehem Steel in the 1920s. Yet they still used the same old duplex houses that coal companies in Pennsylvania had been using for the previous ~40 years.
